LE MOULIN (MILL) DE LA GALETTE

Ideally located in the heart of Montmartre, it is impossible to miss the impressive and famous Moulin de la galette !

The restaurant, that has just been renovated, is situated close to our most luxurious properties.

With a strong history and expertise, this family venture offers traditional French cuisine. The wine menu will please the connoisseurs. I was lucky enough to try out the food.

I loved the sober but cosy environment, as well as the refined cuisine. I recommend the scallops with endives and meringue lemon tart. Just delicious!

I had the opportunity to eat at Dalida’s table, who used to live next to the restaurant. She was a regular client.

In the old days, the joyful atmosphere of freedom and pleasure attracted artists, as well as upper class people, looking to enjoy a hearty meal…

These are some of the reasons that lead Renoir to name two of his paintings after the famous restaurant.

The address of the restaurant le Moulin de la Galette is:  83 rue Lepic, Paris 18th. Open from Tuesday to Sunday from noon to 2.30pm and from 7pm to 10.30pm. Lunch menu for 22 euros (starter + main or main + dessert) or 28 euros (starter + main + dessert). For dinner, starter + main + dessert = 34 euros. A la carte, 45 euros.
