On July 5th, the Hôtel de Crillon reopened its doors after 4 years of renovations. The revered establishment, located on the Place de la Concorde in the heart of Paris, has undergone a complete transformation that will have you seeing stars! On top of the 147 artisans that worked to restore the ornate marble and gold fixtures of this 5-star hotel, even the legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld lent a hand to design its luxurious decor. The designer was responsible for creating two of the hotel’s ten signature suites, which he decided to design in the style of the ‘grands appartements’ of the 18th century.

Entirely updated, the hotel also created a new, spacious spa and a wine cellar that is sure to please all its clients, from foreigners to Parisians! By the way, did you know that no less than 17,000 gold tiles cover the floor and sides of the spa’s brand new pool? Impressive, is it not?
