VISITING THE TRULLI OF ITALY!

“Trullo” : have you heard of this typical Italian word that becomes” trulli ” in the plural form ? Well, these are very pretty houses, made out of dry stones with a conical roof. They are widespread in the Atria valley, Puglia, south of Italy!

Historically, the trulli, hosted farmers. They were also very well-known as dwellings for wine farmers.

A little bit more culture: the trulli have always been built in rural areas. Furthermore, since it was impossible to build several floors in these houses, large families couldn’t live in them. The location of these trulli will allow you to spend some time in the peaceful countryside.
